1. About us

Protect The Paws Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation engaged in animal rescue, treatment, shelter and adoption activities in and around Mumbai. Donations support these charitable objects.

2. Donations

All donations are voluntary contributions towards our charitable activities and are not payments for goods or services. Amounts are accepted in Indian Rupees through our authorised payment gateway.

Recurring donations (monthly/annual) continue until cancelled by you. You can cancel anytime by writing to us or through the payment gateway's subscription management link in your emails.

Receipts, invoices and 80G certificates are issued electronically to the email address you provide. Please ensure it is accurate.

3. Tax benefits

Donations may be eligible for deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, subject to prevailing law and your individual tax situation. Providing a valid PAN is required for 80G receipts. We do not provide tax advice; please consult your tax advisor.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website, submit false rescue reports, attempt to disrupt or probe our systems, or use our content or forms for unlawful purposes. Automated scraping and spam submissions are prohibited.

5. Content & intellectual property

All text, photographs, logos and design elements on this website belong to Protect The Paws Foundation or are used with permission. You may share links to our pages; reproduction for commercial use requires our written consent.

6. Rescue requests

We attend rescue requests on a best-effort basis based on urgency, distance and team availability. Submitting a request does not create a guarantee of response time. For life-threatening emergencies, always call the helpline.

7. Limitation of liability

The website is provided 'as is'. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
